Samsung does NOT plan on releasing a HD DVD/Blu-ray combo player {Engadget HD}

When I was in an Audio store last week a LG rep told us that LG had a release date of Oct. for it's combo player, price he quoted $1200 and it plays CDs to.He seemed to be sure of it and had a few details like dual lasers etc.
