Aug 4th 2008 9:48AM When I switched to DirecTV from Comcrap several months ago, it was for several reasons. 1- 94 HD channels (vs 23) 2- Hardware (Comcrap's HD DVR could record 20 hours of HD tops. My HD721 holds 50+ hours of HD and doesn't freeze 15 times per day). 3- Price. As much as I like the Phillies, I cannot see paying what amounts to an extra $45/mo for the privilege of 70 less HD channels being replaced with Phillies games.

Jul 29th 2008 8:35AM Ed Snyder from the Philadelphia Flyers is pulling the same crap with Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia; he refuses to lease the channel to satellite providers. But he did allow Fios customers to get it.
