Jan 5th 2009 2:56PM Mark up? Why the heck should I have to pay a mark up? If 'they' are looking to replace DVD with Bray, there better not be a mark up at all. Unless of course all of you out there are happier paying more for a product that is similar in quality to what an upconverting DVD player can provide?

Sep 12th 2008 12:16AM Another vote for the Canon TX-1.
Its cheap.
Takes fantastic pictures.
10x OPTICAL zoom.
Its small.
And takes fantastic 720p video.
The only downside is that taking vids in very low light - not so good.

How would you change the outcome of the format war? {Engadget}
Feb 22nd 2008 7:40PM Oh I don't know how about forcing the studios to publich in BOTH formats to allow the CONSUMER (thats you) to decide which format should win out - instead of being puppets for greedy corporations who in the end will bend you over and withdraw large sums of money before digital downloads take over.
