MacBook Air Rev. B mini-review {Engadget}
Dec 1st 2008 8:16PM @Saad Rabia: way to miss the point! Go to youtube and look up "will it blend".
And NO it will not blend. I don't care how tough that blender is supposed to be. Blending aluminum is really hard and I don't believe it will blend. Even if the blender was large enought.
MacBook Air Rev. B mini-review {Engadget}
Dec 1st 2008 8:08PM @ThePengwin: I think you are forgetting one major aspect of the Macbook Air, the weight. It weights considerably less than a macbook and while for most people the 50% savings is more than worth it there is a slim portion of consumers that a willing to pay insane prices for coolness. Not that using a Mac doesn't automatically make you one of the cool kids on the block ...
Oh and why is there still a button on the Air trackpad? Is the new glass trackad too think?

Meizu M8 unboxed before December 8th launch {Engadget}
Nov 28th 2008 7:29AM It didn't take Apple 2 years to develop the iPhone. They actually had an OS to work with ( kind of ) and also apple does their design work in-house but the actual manufacturing is kind of outsources. And you can't really compare the resources that Apple has with a small Chinese company that decided to stick with MS and all the restrictions that that imposes. After all there's only so much that you can change in Windows Mobile when you are not MS ...
What I can't figure out is how is the M8 circumventing Apple's patents. Sure China is kinda lenient when it comes to royalties but if I remember correctly Apple actually has a patent of the form factor of the iPhone amongst other things.
Apple's US Black Friday sale now live {Engadget}
Nov 28th 2008 5:16AM wow, is that what Apple calls a sale? Hardly anything is reduced, there is no reduction of MBP and with edu discount enabled only the entry level MB is discounted.
Thanks Apple for not making me sorry that I didn't wait for the BF sale event :)
Lenovo S10 with six-cell battery gets pictured, priced {Engadget}
Nov 26th 2008 9:06PM only dell's extended batteries stick back and not down. Oh and aspire is just another proof of how dumb Chinese/Taiwanese designers can be. Why would you buy a 2 pound netbook when the battery weight 3 poinds extra and would make the netbook look like some kind of circus freak? Puff the magic dragon, eh?
Lenovo S10 with six-cell battery gets pictured, priced {Engadget}
Nov 26th 2008 9:00PM why is the netbook raised? It never gets hot enough to need the extra ventilation. Sure you need a 6cell battery but lenovo could have done a much better job designing the battery so that the bottom is laying flat much like it does with dell's extended batteries. Come on lenovo IBM laptops used to be synonymous with good design. Sure it's a cheap netbook but using different hinges does not change the manufacturing cost.

Nov 21st 2008 7:10AM And where do you think electricity comes from? Just because it's electric doesn't automatically make it green!
