Car and Driver drawing flak over Photoshopped BMW X6 M drag racing pic? {Autoblog}

Oct 7th 2009 2:06AM I dont see why most of you are so upset/shocked by photoshop use in the magazine. These are not scholarly journals . Every entertaining magazine out there is edited in some form or way (hot models on covers anyone?)

About needing permission : I dont know the location but I'm guessing that it was a open race and since they took their own pictures they didnt need to ask permission.

Nissan Skyline GT-Rs seized in California over possible illegal importation {Autoblog}

Oct 3rd 2009 7:36PM Wait... is this the same California that is currently bankrupt? Gee wiz... they cant afford to pay people of the state, but they sure can afford to send out agents to confiscate harmless cars.

Bottom 10: Worst James Bond cars ever {Autoblog}

Oct 28th 2008 6:32PM I cant believe I'm the only one who thinks the Aston doesnt belong there, that was a great looking car aside from the wheels and headlights its the same as the Aston in The Living Daylights.

VIDEO: Short documentary on Glickenhaus' Ferrari P4/5 {Autoblog}

Sep 15th 2008 9:27PM I think this is a great car and the owner is a top guy who will respond to anyone, well atleast to me on a lambo forum. One thing I found very cool, was that since its his car, he can decide if it can be recreated, Well some rich oil barons in the middle east wanted to do that, but he said no. And he could have got money if his car has been reproduced too.

Anyhow I believe the car does have better performance and down force than the Enzo, so that is definitely saying something.

Amien : though I do agree with you , most past Ferrari's have been lacking, the new 430 is not as bad as the first gorilla nose one. However, the P4/5 I wouldnt really include in that inducement.

To Tblack : I recall reading that he actually wanted it just to be a replica of one of those cars, but the designers talked him out of it and convinced him that making a new car was the best route.

Mitsubishi's 65-inch LaserVue priced at CEDIA: $6,999 {Engadget HD}

Sep 7th 2008 12:09AM Yeah its very very ... high. However as all things go in the TV world, the prices will drop. I was not really expecting to get one right now anyhow. I'll wait for a generation 2 (maybe thinner) But also prices will come down by then I'm sure. But I have been waiting for 3 + years.

NBC to air Top Gear USA episodes online {Autoblog}

Jul 7th 2008 9:39PM Well, I feel that NBC just dropped the ball on this one. Whether if failed or not, it doesn't matter anymore. Maybe I'm old fashioned and prefer my shows through the TV but it seems this is how they got by with ," we wont censor you". IE the answer was, don't show them to mass audience just make it online. I don't know all the details but that's how it seems to me.

Mitsubishi's LaserVue 65-inch and 75-inchers due this fall {Engadget}

Jun 25th 2008 12:30AM Damn.. I saw the huge recognizable tv and thought finally they are releasing their prices and more info.. nope just more same oh that I already know.. Anyhow I really am looking forward to this technology, LCD is just too slow and gets a heat glow around fast moving objects (and this is the 120hz ones). Plasma is great but a bit dark.

However I got no need for 65 + when 2nd gen comes out and if they have 40-50 then your talking.

NVIDIA and friends working on alternate USB 3.0 spec, SiS joins in, Intel uninvited from everybody's birthday parties {Engadget}

Jun 14th 2008 3:12PM hmm.. I dont know the history on External Graphic cards, just some tid bits I read about a year ago or so. But I would think if 3.0 came into play it would really help push that market and people with laptops could have faster access speeds to external cards. I believer Asus had one that used 2.0. so 3.0 could be even better.
