Verizon beefs up network, expands FiOS in Hampton Roads, VA {Engadget HD}

Jun 14th 2008 11:30AM Yeah -- I have given up on their bait-and-switch. As somebody who shovels over $100 to Verizon for mediocre access (I pay for more DSL than I get, because I am 20 feet too far from the switch), and over $100 to Cox for below mediocre service (I have to get a digital box to get analog channels -- techs come out and say it doesn't make sense, but for 5 years they haven't been able to fix it).

Cavalier is starting to look good and that is scary. Of course, I am pretty sure that Cox (who has their hand up the city of Norfolk's @$$ like a puppetmaster) is orchestrating the bulk of the resistance. I hope that whole company explodes like the flaming ball of superheated excrement that they are.
