Eurosport HD launches right on time {Engadget HD}

May 27th 2008 2:51AM On Finnish cable network I've been watching it, quality has looked very nice on my 1080p projector whenever they actually use HD source. It seems that the French Open games shown live are proper 1080i but some (but not all) of the delayed games (e.g. yesterday when it was raining in Paris) were just SD content upscaled to 1080i. Also, the wrap-up studio discussion and the snippets of the games after the last match were just upscaled SD.
