Tweetie 2 is now on the App Store {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 10th 2009 1:18AM I bought it to try it out, and my wife is hooked on Tweetie. I love the swipe feature and the "reply-all." But I still like the Twitterrific UI options and look overall, and it takes less clicks to reply and see a conversation. I want Twittetrific to add the reply-all, and then I feel it will be complete.
But, I use Tweetie for Mac, and the syncing features could be tempting. We'll see!

Poll: Is the lack of Blu-ray playback keeping you from buying a Mac? {Engadget HD}
Apr 11th 2009 2:19PM Watching HD movies on my laptop is not a huge concern for me. What IS a huge concern for me is having a great computer that runs well and works like it should; and for me that is my Mac. I never plan on buying a Windows PC because of all the bad experiences I have had on them. The quality of Macs is so worth the price, which is why the market right now says that for all computers sold over $1000 Apple has 66% of the market.

DISH Network's ViP 922 and SlingGuide unveiled: first "SlingLoaded" HD DVR {Engadget HD}
Jan 8th 2009 1:34AM This is legit. This makes me feel that Dish is leading the way in pioneering and not just hanging out behind DirectTV. It makes me happy to be a Dish customer. Here's hoping that upgrading doesn't cost an arm and leg!
DISH Network unloads HD locals in a handful of new markets {Engadget HD}
Oct 9th 2008 8:08PM With all the launches that Dish has done this year, there is NOTHING new in the West. I live in Tucson, AZ, the 52nd largest city in the country. You would think we would be included in the 71% that have HD locals, but Dish has only been adding stuff east of the Mississippi River more or less. Come on Dish!
DISH Network's summer HD locals rollout gets revealed {Engadget HD}
May 27th 2008 12:27AM Serious ditto on the west-coast bias. In the roll-out this year it seems to all have started there, so I hope the west is coming soon. I am in Tucson, AZ, and we are the 32nd largest city in the country, for sure bigger than some of the cities on the list. Come on Dish!
