Sling Media starts shipping $300 Slingbox PRO-HD, Canada to get it soon {Engadget}
Sep 25th 2008 12:55PM If they put an HDMI connect on it they would have to include one in the package, since the cable makers and hardware manufacturers seem to have this unknown pact to never put an HDMI cable in the packages why would they put it in the box. Oh, that's right I'm such an idiot, they want you to pay a minimum of thirty bucks for something that only cost's them twenty five cents to make. I forgot how you are supposed to support these people's greed and hunger for more money than one person can ever use in their lifetime. Wait a minute, isn't that how the USA got into this problem in the first place, corporate greed?
Android-powered HTC Dream to sell for $199 on T-Mobile {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 18th 2008 7:16AM Well, gee, I dunno, I just got a battery for my Shadow that works for more than a few hours a day. So, why would I want to abandon it and get something else that may or may not require me to have to charge it every few hours? Has anyone used one of these things yet? Will it come with a media player that's Windows Mobile compatible so I don't have to sync everything to a different operating system and waste all those hours? Hell my music library alone is now up to ten gigs and having to convert that much will take days of loading the cd's with this computer, and all my videos . . . .

Poll: What's the most annoying form of advertising? {Engadget HD}
Jun 7th 2008 8:26AM Went to see Kung Fu Panda last night at the local mega-beatyoudownwithourfiftydollarpopcorntubs-plex, had to sit through ten minutes of television commercials before one movie trailer played! If this continues, Sunrise Theaters, your going to start loosing your $60 a week from me! AMC lost me years ago. Who's next? Muvico? Regal? Are you all hurting that bad from loosing so many movie watchers to television and the DVD that you seem to think you have to make us sit through this garbage. Idontthinkso. Y'all are starting to get like the theme parks in Orlando and pricing yourselves out of the market. In this case greed is NOT good! WAKE UP!
Monster Cable at it again, sues mini-golf company {Engadget}
May 27th 2008 8:00AM Time to thin the herd people. Such stupidity cannot and should not be tolerated, PERIOD. Let's begin by stopping the biggest pusher of all, BB & CC for even stocking such absolute garbage in the first place. Then when Monster Cable is crying in their own foolishness in the streets, shaking their heads wondering where they messed everything up, blindside them with their own garbage.

May 19th 2008 6:40AM OMG How typical of the callous mass marketers in this country. Sell something that will only be good long enough to make that last dying breath then refuse the refund of the customers money and deny any knowledge of the impending blackout then have the brainless idiots behind the counter also deny what is going to happen. Then when the manufacturer's start getting phone calls for refunds they too can deny any knowledge and deny any responsibility in the mess that IS going to ensue. And you people have the gall to stand in front of a TV camera and say things like, "I've never seen this guy before. He just came in here with guns blazing and took out thirty of our best customers." and one of my favorites,"our hearts go out to the victims and their family's in the mass murder. We will do everything in our power to help". In other words, you're on your own get out of our store. I've been victimized like this first hand with a laptop I purchased November last year. If even one of the units had been turned on at one of the three store I visited in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Saint Petersburg, Florida so that I could see before hand that the Vista experience score on it is 2.5 I would have saved my $1100+ and gone elsewhere. I however have the common sense not to go out and purchase an automatic weapon and take out a store full of people. Then again some people don't have the time and resources to sue the #1 laptop maker in this country and electronics big box seller and their "award winning customer service" for false and misleading practices.
