Hands-on with VUDU's movies-on-demand STB {Engadget HD}

Sep 8th 2007 9:55AM Are we to assume that there is no monthly fee for this? That would be well worth it but something tells me otherwise. If there is no monthly fee the cost to "rent" the movies will probably be steep compared to existing cable providers movies on demand service. Is there any news on what studios are willing to make content available? That would most certainly be a deciding factor in purchasing this device for a lot of people. If pricing is reasonable and the content is decent then this could be the next "must have" component for home theaters everywhere.

Apple, SanDisk, and Samsung sued by Texas MP3 {Engadget}

Feb 23rd 2007 6:16PM "Guess what, Dell is from Texas too! Are they dumb?"

I believe the correct answer is yes. Dell sucks.

The patent issue over the mp3 player will pan out, its a frivolous attempt (like most) to make money off of big companies that take advantage of smaller companies and people. While this is totally wrong, wasting time and money on lawsuits that will never succeed will not pay off. Instead, that time and money should be spent invested in coming up with a new idea and product that might actually have a chance at making money.
