Paradigm bumps up Monitor speaker line to v.6 {Engadget HD}
Aug 10th 2008 2:05AM Paradigm speakers... it's a good high end audio company I suppose. Just not my cup of tea because they seem to lack neutrality and are a bit on the bright side of the spectrum. Probably nice for home theater use but not so much for serious music listeners. PSB is a company similar to paradigm but I find their products to be more acceptable.
B&W seems to get it more "right" with their 600 series than paradigm does in their monitor series.

Also, who thinks the spell checks in internet browsers need to allow "blu" to officially become a properly spelled word?

Jun 16th 2008 7:27PM Well here is the thing. I really don't have much time to watch movies these days so if i'm going to watch something, you're darn right it's going to be on blu-ray.
I was on the fence about seeing be kind rewind. Now it's on blu and i'm going to see it.

Jun 14th 2008 4:17PM This is preposterous, at 30 thousand dollars it is 30 times the cost of other brands that offer nearly the exact same feature set. I'm all for top quality audio and video but it can be done cheaper and better. Period.
Makes me wonder this, not to be holier than thou about stuff.. and i'm a staunch capitalist.. however... there are so many much more important things and people that need financial support. You can't take it with you.

Jun 10th 2008 10:13PM I mean this 100 percent seriously. Opera is getting viewers because there are some good looking women wearing corsets busting with cleavage. Lots of HD closeups of this. I'm almost completely convinced this is where half the ratings are coming from.
