Aug 27th 2008 12:27PM There is a reason TIVO was put on Deathwatch. It is not relevant. I have a DirecTV DVR and all I do is hit guide, find what i want to record, and hit record. Or hit record button twice and it records the series. You cant get much simpler than that. My set top box is on my network so I get On-demand too. I have used TIVO having worked at an electronics retail outlet for many years. TIVO is a waste of money.

Aug 25th 2008 1:15PM This think will sell because people are crazy. I can see someone buying this so their kids/grandkids can watch Blu-ray while they stick to good old tapes. I mean these tapes are perfectly good, why would I stop using them?

"This movie watching innovation will be available to Xbox LIVE Gold members who are also Netflix subscribers...."

Jul 11th 2008 11:44AM Has anyone tried to use a gaming adapter or wireless ethernet bridge, or even powerline adapters for the popcorn hour a100? I would think the wireless would hurt quality. I have had a few people tell me that powerline ethernet adapters work well, but i don't know anyone that has used it with the a100

Jun 27th 2008 2:47PM As a former manager at Best Buy i can tell you it is all about location. In southern Indiana where i was a manager many people use OTA and that is it. Cable companies will not pay to run lines to them and many dislike Satellite. Some people just don't watch tv that much around here either. We would get all types of people coming to our store because it was either us or Walmart/Target since we closed down the Circuit by us many years ago and the next closest electronics store was 50 miles away. Best Buy may not always have the most informed people but atleast you can find someone to talk to that knows something, as opposed to if you can find someone at all at walmart.

Jun 27th 2008 2:38PM My xbox 360 is by far the best microsoft product i own. I play it everyday and i am lucky enough to still have the one i got 1 month after release, not many of those still floating around these days.
