ABG First Drive: 2009 Honda Fit Sport {Autoblog Green}

Aug 19th 2008 6:57PM I agree with the comment about needing a clean diesel version of this car, does anybody have a good estimate at what MPG that might return?

Hey now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure there is a Hybrid FiT coming in a year or two, maybe that will up the mileage significantly with an IMA system, I can only hope. 28/35 isn't bad, but I'm looking for much better.

Aug 8th 2008 6:02PM Interesting, the last time I checked out Crossover Mac it wasn't fully ready for Quicken yet - nice that they're still making progress.

Any idea if it's 100% with Office 2003 also?

Aug 8th 2008 5:16PM Without the ability to download transactions from all the financial institutions this program will never get a serious look from me. I'm still using Quicken 2008 for Windows via Fusion.

My hope is that iBank 4 may be able to work for me. 3 isn't quite there yet.

Next-gen Prius to get solar panel to drive accessories {Autoblog Green}

Jul 7th 2008 12:31PM If you live in a moderate climate I can see where you may think this is a silly idea, but as a Phoenix AZ resident, I can tell you that this would be much appreciated around here.

Would I prefer a rooftop solar setup that re-charged batteries for driving the car? Absolutely! But this is still a worthwhile setup for people in hot climates.

Auto Week recommends the four cylinder engine {Autoblog Green}

Jun 19th 2008 12:13PM Too many of these smaller cars just don't return the MPG that I would expect. I'm driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante, a large car by fuel efficient standards. But I get 21 in my mixed driving, and 27 - 28mpg on pure highway trips. That's as good as that little Cobalt. I would expect far better mileage from smaller 4 cylinder powered cars.

Jun 12th 2008 6:20PM Ha ha, this is a cool little project, but it does not look like a normal bicycle.

Japan Post plans a switch to electric cars, Mitsubishi stock soars {Autoblog Green}

Jun 3rd 2008 4:49PM This car is the nearest production EV that really looks great to me. The Th!nk OX is what I'd really like, but they're further away from making that a reality.

Here's to hoping that EV's and especially with regenerative capabilities like the Dean Kamen Sterling in a Th!nk City become far more common and affordable.
