Poll: How's your iPhone 3G reception? {Engadget}

Jul 17th 2008 2:21PM Interesting, I never noticed before, but I can feet the same edge on my gen 1 iphone, but reversed- I feel it on the right side, the left is smooth. No biggy though, only noticible when you look for it. Maybe its more pronounced on the 3g.

May 14th 2008 8:32PM As soon as it hits the shelves of the new "flagship" apple store on Boylston in Boston (opening tomorrow), that sucker's mine. It'll give me an excuse to check out the new store also- looks pretty slick. Not a bad way to spend a lunch break. If only they sold iFood there too...

RIM developing "Apple Killer" touchscreen BlackBerry? {Engadget}

Apr 27th 2008 4:03PM I rather like the iPhone keyboard, now that I'm used to it and have learned to put the spelling corrector to use efficiently. But for the way I use my phone, I probably wouldn't consider purchasing any "iPhone killlers" unless they had a similar virtual keyboard. I do not want a smaller screen on my phone (or bigger, for that matter), and having to physically slide out a real keyboard every time I wanted to type something would be very disruptive. It would interfere with the flow of whatever I was doing and become a nuisance. I wouldn't mind a phone with a physical slideout keyboard, but it would also have to have a damned good virtual keyboard as well, as good as the iPhone, as I would probably be using the virtual keyboard over 90% of the time.
