Nov 3rd 2009 12:34PM This is a serious question as I haven't jailbroke since back in 2.0something. What features besides tethering can we get in JB rather than stock? I use to use VLC a little and it was cool for about a week having Quake on my phone but that was about all I did.

Ask Engadget HD: Best home theater setup for gaming? {Engadget HD}
Oct 7th 2009 5:59PM I just got my theater setup, 126"ish screen from an Epson 6100 Projector, 1080p that cost me less than $1400. I recently added 2 speakers to my setup to go 7.1 as well.
I can tell you the I personally enjoy the pj better than my buddies 60" Kuro Plasma and that 7.1 is not really worth it yet. Out of my ~48 Blu Rays, not a single one is 7.1. I think only two are 6.1.

Oct 7th 2009 9:08AM I'm still thinking anyone with a consumer HD camcorder loves the idea of having these. I know if these were reasonably priced (I dont know, ~$20-$30) I would be buying a BD burner TODAY.

Ask Engadget HD: How do I hook up surround sound without cables running everywhere? {Engadget HD}
Oct 2nd 2009 12:26PM I dealt with this setting up my new theater just about a month ago. I bought 350ft of cable from monoprice, took off all my trim, ran it behind/below it, drilled a 1" hole in the drywall behind the trim and another 1" hole about 6" up, fished the cable through the wall, bought the wallplates from monoprice to make the installation look clean, reinstalled the baseboards. Overall it was a very positive experience, I didnt know I was capable of it but it was quiet easy.
