AMD's ATI All-in-Wonder HD gets reviewed {Engadget}

Aug 19th 2008 3:17PM My anger is directed to the right manufacturer. No guarantees that same thing will not happen when Windows 7 is out. Chances are they just launch a new product and tell customers "please upgrade".

I won't risk getting stuck with Vista forever.

AMD's ATI All-in-Wonder HD gets reviewed {Engadget HD}

Aug 19th 2008 3:07PM ATI has a history of early discontinuing their products. I've bought this AiW X1900 just two years ago, at the same time Windows Vista was being released. Yet to date, no support for TV on Vista is provided. Recently they published a solution to this problem on their support page (if they call that a solution), stating that no TV capture driver will be provided for Vista, ever.

They are probably imagining that every owner of unsupported boards will rush to the shop and buy their latest AiW product. Not!

Now imagine you buying this board and very soon comes along Windows 7. Will they provide support, or just launch a new product? Go figure.

AMD smells a comeback with ATI All-in-Wonder HD {Engadget HD}

Aug 19th 2008 11:25AM I have lost my trust in AMD products as well. They honestly believe that by discontinuing support for their not-so-old products you will actually buy a new one. For sure not one of theirs.

I won't risk buying this board and getting stuck with Vista forever.

Self-assembling polymer arrays could lead to larger hard drives, boastful Badgers {Engadget}

Aug 15th 2008 2:14PM I doubt any new technology will ever cost the same as current technology. This applies to SDD now and will certainly apply to Self-assembling polymer arrays. SSD will soon make its way to mainstream.

Stretchy silicon circuits wrap around complex shapes, like your wife {Engadget}

Mar 28th 2008 12:33PM Didn't get the joke. Can it be because I'm still single?
