May 15th 2009 4:59PM Comparing a Lincoln MKS to a Volkswagen Phaeton is ridiculous. The Volkswagen Phaeton was set out from it's inception to become the greatest sedan possible (within a reasonable amount of money).
This Lincoln MKS is a standard Lincoln MKS except for a better engine and an AWD system. Look at all the fuss and marketing that's going with this car. 4,000+ pounds and 335hp is nothing to sneeze at.
It has terrible Interior dimensions also. The Jaguar XF a car shorter by almost to inches is almost identical on the interior dimensions lacking only an inch in every category. Remember that The MKS is 10 inches longer however. And the CTS does you one better, for 15 less inches of overall length it sacrifices only 2.5 inches of rear legroom.
It will sell as bad as it looks also just as the STS-V struggles to find it's niche.

Mar 10th 2007 3:22PM Sony wants to avoid the comparison with Microsoft. As of March 6, Microsoft had Borat available for download (Yes, HD). The price on the Xbox 360 marketplace was somewhere around the field of $4.75.
Sony does not want to be part of this comparison. As many Blu-ray customers are actually PS3 owners this will be inevitable and probably the reason why Sony doesn't want to push the units.

Aug 9th 2006 9:10AM I had it understood that the difference between 4x4 and AWD is that AWD transferred equal power to all of the wheels. Whereas a 4x4 has transfers let's say 80% the power in the rear and 20% the power to the front.

Jun 13th 2006 8:50PM I love how all the "analysts" on various ESPN 1 shows comment that Americans are not into soccer. This is not directly related to the digital artifact problem the Cable companies seem to have on thier hand, I realize. The commentators blame the American soccer team for not getting Americans into soccer. They should blame (their parent company) Disney and carry the games on a channel that sports casual watching Americans have access to (ABC), if they cared about the feelings towards soccer in America. The first USA game was broadcasted on ESPN2! As almost 75% of the games will be. The ratings argument (The FIFA World Cup apparently does not generate enough viewers to have it on ESPN) is ridicoulus. If a Spelling Bee can score some 8 million viewers, then an American Team playing at the World Cup should rate as much as that. Of course, when the medium for content deliverey is present.
