Downtime extended to 1 O'Clock PST {WOW Insider}

Dec 2nd 2008 3:43PM Why do you think disk to disk would be cost prohibitive? Have you seen all the data Google stores? They can do so because disk drives are so cheap. When you can pay less than $0.10/gigabyte, it seems like disk to disk is the logical way to back things up...certainly seems like a better option than a proprietary tape backup system.

Wrath Dailies: Planning for the Future {WOW Insider}

Dec 2nd 2008 2:01PM Note you can pick up the babies while in combat. It enrages the parents, but it's worth it to prevent people from coming by and stealing the babies you're fighting for (which has happened on more than one occasion to me).

On the search for Heavy Frostweave Bandages {WOW Insider}

Dec 1st 2008 5:27PM When I wanted to learn this, say, 2 weeks ago, I just looked it up on Wowhead, got some hints as to where to farm in Zul'Drak, went there when I wasn't the right level, and it quickly dropped after about 10 minutes of farming.

So yeah, we can have a long post on how this is a rare drop and impossible to get, or maybe you can buy a BoP on the auction house, or you could have just linked to one of many WowHead comments that tells you where you can easily find it. It's really not that complicated.

Arcane Brilliance: Wrath reputation rewards for Mages, part 2 {WOW Insider}

Dec 1st 2008 12:21PM Thanks for this well written and informative guide. I've been debating which tabard to wear and lately it's been Argent Crusade just because I want to stop wasting 6 dailies each day on Troll Patrol. But it appears that the Kirin Tor tabard is the way to go. I will make sure to equip it for future runs.

The Oracles' Mysterious Egg is a must-get for pet and mount collectors {WOW Insider}

Dec 1st 2008 11:31AM You only need revered to buy the egg.

Profession epics go BoE in Wrath {WOW Insider}

Nov 7th 2008 5:40PM Of course, otherwise, what would be the point?

They add a non-colored socket that does not affect the socket bonuses in that item.

Profession epics go BoE in Wrath {WOW Insider}

Nov 7th 2008 5:37PM I'm pretty sure they're not saying there won't be any BoP epics from recipes that drop in instances. But you won't be required as a mage to take Tailoring for the Spellfire set any more.

I'm actually considering dropping Tailoring now for Engineering. Get a sweet pair of goggles, a new pet, and some other fun stuff.

Profession epics go BoE in Wrath {WOW Insider}

Nov 7th 2008 5:35PM No, ring enchants still remain for enchanters only. I thought it was pretty clear in the article.
