Jul 16th 2008 9:13AM Apparently, that is exactly what they are doing and this will become the new standard. This peripheral is meant to upgrade existing Wiimotes. I get the feeling that they don't want to publicize this because it would prevent people from buying the current Wii controllers and the new controllers won't be released this year, but it was implied in an IGN interview with Miyamoto.
