Oscar Pistorius fails to qualify for the Olympics {Engadget}

Jul 18th 2008 8:53PM Sure. And going by your logic, a genetic advantage isn't fair either. So now we should try to measure people's genetic potential and only allow people to compete who are exact matches? That way everything is nice and fair.

Oscar Pistorius fails to qualify for the Olympics {Engadget}

Jul 18th 2008 8:30PM Interesting. I still think it's fair either way, though, because anyone is allowed to amputate their legs and replace them with prostheses.

Oscar Pistorius fails to qualify for the Olympics {Engadget}

Jul 18th 2008 8:06PM I don't care if he uses 1% of the energy of everyone else. The guy's running with no legs. Give him the gold.

Missing@E3: Indiana Jones and the Vanished Game {Joystiq}

Jul 18th 2008 3:14PM I don't think the movie sucked--but some things sucked about it.

Here are two things off the top of my head that I thought sucked:

1) Refrigerator protection against nuclear bomb. It's good to know I have my own personal bomb shelter in my kitchen--just in case.
2) Aliens. Why is it that every time a non-European society achieves anything in the realm of science, math agriculture or architecture, they had help from aliens? It's egocentric, naive, and stupid.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry: For developers, everything's better in Texas {Joystiq}

Jul 16th 2008 7:44PM Well, there you go. We don't use Reliant energy in Austin. Sorry you're getting reamed.

Jul 16th 2008 4:35PM Well, energy was significantly cheaper in 2007 for Austin:

Not sure what it's at now, though. Also, we don't pay a state tax--so there's that.

Final Fantasy XIII petition video is an instant comedy classic {Joystiq}

Jul 15th 2008 12:55PM Don't forget toasting with milk in a wine glass. Awesome touch.

Final Fantasy XIII: 360 development starting after PS3 version {Joystiq}

Jul 15th 2008 1:47AM I realize I'm likely in the minority here--but I'm not a fan of the series. It seems too linear for what I would call an RPG. I feel that, with FF games, you're just playing to get to the next cutscene. I also feel that all the men are dressed in drag.

Microsoft details other 360 improvements, including hard drive game installs {Engadget}

Jul 14th 2008 4:57PM Uh... Meant "ENGADGET"--not JOYSTIQ. Sorry. I've got E3 tabbing madness going on.
