JVC's DLA HD100 1080p D-ILA projector gets reviewed {Engadget HD}
Mar 15th 2008 1:14PM I purchased this product about 2 months ago. I replaced my sharp xv-z12000markII with the JVC dla-hd100. I have to say that the CNET reviewers were either color blind or completely off in their assesment of the projector's color accuracy. In fact, the hd-100 is on the most acurately set projector out of the box. Almost all projectors are not color acurate straight out of the box, but JVC does an excellent job in that area. If you want to read reviews from non-biased projector experts, just google the jvc dla-rs2 which is the exact same model. JVC just marketed this model as their professional line. There is absolutely no difference other than the outer casing. You will find that almost all reviews were great reviews of the hd100.
Sonics (Conveniently) Waive Brent Barry {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Feb 22nd 2008 2:56PM Why do people comment about Pop's remarks about the Memphis/Laker trade, when they know absolutley nothing about the context in which it was said. I watched heard the interview and Pop, very notoriously know for joking with the media and being a smart a$$, AND HE WASN'T SERIOUS!!! Secondly if I'm not mistaken, Stackhouse's contract would have been bought out which is different than being waived. When your contract is bought out, you are not placed on the waiver wire, you automatically become a free agent able to negotiated with any team. When you are waived, there is a 48hour period where you are on waivers and any team can claim you. If the Spurs and Sonics had an agreement to allow Barry to return, that would have been a big chance they would be taking by waiving Barry. That is the difference between that trade and the Mavs/Nets trade(which failed). There is no way the Mavs would have done the deal if there was a chance Stackhouse would have been claimed.
