HDTV defined {Engadget HD}

Nov 8th 2005 6:42PM Hi, Can anyone help? If I am looking at two plasma tv's which one would I choose? 1024x1024 or 1024x768p. I read the above information and called the "technical" support line at LG USA. The tech told me that for it to be considered "HD" the only criteria that had to me meet was the 720p horizontal lines. He further said that the vertical resolution was not as important. Please advise. Thank you! Heath
