Oct 26th 2009 1:21PM cool feature, but i fail to understand why I would want to utilize this over my blu ray enabled netflix account. oh yeah, plus the HD selection on PSN (which i can watch while downloading) is far more robust than the sub-SD catalog offerings from netflix... I just don't get it.

for the record, which samsungs are you referring to? for the past 2 years they generally have employed excellent video processing through out their entire line ups .

uneven wear is also an old argument as this can happen to plasma, lcd, or crt.

i beg to differ. people like to pick up lcds over plasmas because of all the ludicrous marketing from samsung and sony (i.e. LED tvs, contrast ratios). oh, and dont forget big box retail geek sale-boys who kept those ridiculous plasma rumors alive all these years. people still think they need to recharge their plasma cells once a year!
