Nov 18th 2005 11:17AM How far away will you be from the set....this is very important. If you recall I got the 60" SXRD at an unbelievable price from the mistaken CC flyer, however, I was only 8 feet away, and the picture was..well. ..sorry to say...unwatchable. I returned it, much to my chagrin and I went with the HP-PL5000N which is a rebranded Panny 50inch with all the bells and whistles. I love it, and I'm ecstatic about the plasma. I would recommend that if you go with the 60" SXRD that you are at least 10.5 feet from the screen. Cheers.

Nov 8th 2005 10:58AM I saw a demo of these at the Digital Life event. 9 out of 10 people were impressed. Unfortunately I was the tenth. It certainly appears to an untrained eye that the picture is sharper, however it introduces considerable noise as well as as blasts the contrast, and harms black level. That being said, most people outside this forum won't know to look for this and it will be very easy for a salesman to sell these to your average lcd/plasma buyer.

Oct 29th 2005 8:40PM I got th eflyer this morning and almost crapped my pants. Instead of going to CC however, i went to Best Buy to price match. Not only did they price match (-$1000) , but they gave me a 4 year warranty for $200 instead of $400. Took off shipping. Plus gave Me a $500 gift card! And $150 in rewards!!!! ALl in all I basically received $1650 in rebates and discounts/ gift cards!!!)
