Apr 5th 2008 10:28PM and the fact, unlike us who got our ps3s first day they were out, the new systems cannot and will not play ps1 or ps2 games. UNlike ours where there was a patch released so that we could, my friend bought one and sony pretty much said tough shit. So who would spend 400+ on a system that isnt backwards compatiable. My friend went and got a wii instead

As well as ONE MISSED CALL, BEOWOLF, CLOVERFIELD, and others. Hum, for a dead format, there seems to be quite some good relases coming out in the next few months.

Dont try and suck up now, all us hd and purple fans see what you are for what you've done. Your HD post have been anti HD since the begining, and now that you consider it done, ur trying to say oh hd this and hd that.
As i read before, it wasnt the CONSUMERS that decided the war, it was the corps that decided it for us. So how can you claim that you won when it was decided by companys and not by consumers. Thats like hillary winning the presidency because big corp busniess and superdelegates decided it even tho the voters are voting the other way. You didnt win, corp's just bullied thier way to forcing blu on us
thank god it still ranks high in other countries where we can still ahve choice and importing options.

plus many many others. Theres over 40 different HDDVD preorders with release dates. So how is this dead? Oh wait, ONLY IN AMERICA is it dead. So blu can cheer all they want believing they killed it, but all they did was end the compition over here which will jack up prices where as the rest of us can continue to enjoy New rleases imported at the same great 20-30.00 price mark
