Dec 31st 2007 8:33PM I wonder if this isn't going to be a similar case of the DVD-Audio vs. SACD war. A war raged and nobody cared. They both basically died.
I actually had a woman I worked with how much better could a DVD be than videotape. I think Joe Average American doesn't know a whole lot and doesn't care. They tend to buy the cheapest and easiest.
We're all here because we're enthusiasts. I think a lot of people are scarcely aware that either format even exists let alone picking one over the other.
