Feb 21st 2008 1:16AM I will definitely be interested in what OPPO comes up with. The problem will be the waiting time. I don't think we will see anything from them until sometime in 2009. I also vote for a full feature machine that will not only be 2.0 ready with all the various codecs but also include DVD-A and SACD support. Unless something better comes along first, which I highly doubt, I will be waiting for this one. Glad I have my PS3 to get me through.

Feb 20th 2008 10:18PM After trying out a Panasonic BD30 and being unimpressed by the picture and its fairly poor upscaling, I returned it and picked up a PS3. The Panasonic was better in the audio department when it came to being able to send True HD and HD Master to my Onkyo Receiver but the PS3 beats it at PCM uncompressed tracks, not to mention picture and upscaling. This will be fine until a number of well reviewed 2.0 models arrive and prices on those begin to drop. Until then I am really enjoying the well designed, problem free PS3.
