Mar 20th 2008 9:47PM In my case it's about what I can watch first, then the DVR. If I want to watch the NFL 49ers play games, while I'm in LA, I must get DirecTV for NFL Sunday Ticket.
I can't wait for the day we as consumers can switch this around: have any DVR we want on the service we want. Then we can all be happy.
TiVo gets my vote as the best DVR...for me. I have seen most if not all on the list and given them a test drive at the store of friend's home. And you love hearing their stories about how it stalls, locks up, losing records, doesn't record, etc. I never have these problems with my two Tivo DVRs.
I can't wait for that DirecTV USB HD external dual tuner. Now you can take that "service" and apply it to your DVR: Media Center and hopefully Tivo HD or Series 3 - a dream come true.

Jan 30th 2008 1:49PM All of these I've seen already Air Amergency on NGC and Seconds from Disaster on HIS.
Maybe in the next 10 years they can be original. I can't wait for the premiere of "When History Changed Weather" hosted by Al Gore.
