May 25th 2009 5:00PM I see it as the flash...Too big for the Flash someone commented? Why too big? More light is good for getting your subjects in low light.
It will be great for the camera option as they are improving the lens and software for it.

I am willing to risk it. The less I have to carry seperately the better. That is why I got an iPhone. one device to replace 2 devises. So far no overweight, dandruff, oily hair stuff happening to me.

Jan 2nd 2009 10:19AM Perhaps what you say about speed is true, or not. Have to check it out more. BUT, in the meantime I can say I checked out the website for the box you were promoting. So far in the US the only HD quality stuff was Movie Trailers and IMAX Movies. Also, it isn't clear on the site if it will charge for HD Movies as it goes from listing Free TV/Movies and then mentions nothing free in the HD Quality stuff.
Plus the channels available are really odd. I have an Apple TV hacked with BOXXEE and it gives me tons of stuff to watch that way AND I have a Roku box to watch my Netflix stuff that seems to play just fine and I only pay my low monthly fee to watch that AND get DVD's into the house within 2 days turnaround. So I think your description is not quite all it is cracked up to be. I would say the playing field is pretty level right now as to who will come out on top, and you need more than one box/service to make it all work for now. Probably have another few years as people are only just starting (like myself) to switch over to Internet TV Services and let go of their Cable and Satelite Service.

Jan 15th 2008 4:23PM About the guys Sony X505 that was made so long ago. True it is thin (but no longer being made) and lighter than the AIR. Though the battery hump did make it thicker. So that is why Apple can call it the worlds lightest notebook.
YET...you fail to mention the screen is a mere 10.5 inches and the keyboard is is really small and that the batter life is 1.5 hours and that speed is 1.1gh. or that it cost double the AIR.
Not to take away, just to balance out your statement and put some reality check behind it.

Jan 15th 2008 3:59PM Wow... I don't hear a lot of love for something so incredible. What, are you people jaded?
Battery isn't swappable. SO WHAT? It is 5.5 hours between charges (how long was your battery that is swapable?), instant on, Great Wi-Fi / Blue Tooth and the first of it's kind. So new technology will mean a higher price and be more of a nitch market at first. The prices will come down over time. Plus imagine the not having an actual moving hard drive if you go for the Electronic HD.
Remember when computers and laptops first came out...this was a standard price. If you look at the current Apple Laptops you are paying about $800 more for a brand new technology just out of the box that is thin, light and no compramise on keyboard or screen.
STOP BEING SO CYNICAL PEOPLE.
