TakaraTomy's Issho Ni Nenne puts baby to sleep, forever {Engadget}
Mar 19th 2007 10:07AM This is actually kind of genius... though I can kind of see an interesting scenario when the kid grows up.
"Hey babe, welcome to my place, make yourself comfortable, I've just gotta turn on my Mickey Mouse Womb Machine before we go to bed."
"Your what?"
"Mickey Mouse Womb Machine, I can't fall asleep without it. You don't mind, do you? The sloshing fluids, heartbeat, and muffled music do the trick every... Babe? Hey! Where'd she go?"

Mar 15th 2007 1:43PM It's "words", Robots will rule the words... which means we all need to learn an alternative means of communication.
Maybe body language... but I guess that's too imprecise. I guess we'll have to go telepathic.

Mar 12th 2007 10:58AM Um, it was a joke guys... and I thought it was somewhat amusing. The photographic composition is pretty bad and they're kinda pointing that out.
Not to mention the girl's not even that cute... seems like some engadget readers need to get back to the real world for a few minutes each day, you're slipping away.
The BANCLOCK: if the IRS made alarm clocks {Engadget}
Mar 9th 2007 10:18AM It should really give you the option to snooze based on how much you put in... 5 cents, you get 2 minutes, 10 cents you get 5, 25 cents you get 10... and you have to put in a silver dollar to get it to shut off for the day.
Blu-ray players to reach $299 in 2007? {Engadget HD}
Mar 6th 2007 5:00PM I really don't think it will take 3 years like DVD... electronic product cycles/improvement cycles are much faster these days than they were 20 years ago. I'd say we'll hit that pricepoint sometime in 2008. Whether it's hit by one or both formats next year, who really knows... but my humble guess would be that yes, by sometime next year we'll be seeing both formats at $299.
Toyota, Honda, and Italdesign compete for attention in Geneva {Engadget}
Mar 6th 2007 4:38PM I actually thought the Honda looked like an Aston Martin mixed with an Audi.
Toyota, Honda, and Italdesign compete for attention in Geneva {Engadget}
Mar 6th 2007 4:20PM The Honda is okay... but the Toyota looks like a 2012 Prius. And what the heck is up with the last one? What's the point of a sexy one-seater? "Hey babe, like my new ride? Well hop in the trunk and we'll head over to my place." One seaters are for efficient commuters, there's no need for high-end luxury. If you want luxury, efficience is rarely top priority, showing off by giving people rides is much, much higher.
But hey, what do I know... I drive a Jetta.
