Feb 14th 2008 11:51AM I would disagree that content solely won this war. I think the PS3 won the war. To be honest, I support Blu Ray, but didn't until just before the Warner announcement. I was actually going to get a HD DVD player but last minute switched. The fact is HD DVD had far better movie selection before Warner's switch. Not in numbers but in quality. Transformers, Matrix, V for Vendetta, Bourne etc; Universal, Paramount, and Warner are clearly the three most important studios and they had all 3. It is because of Sony's ability to get players in with the PS3 that won this, not content.
