Jan 6th 2008 5:01PM HD DVD still has a chance. We'll see if there was a payoff of sorts. If it comes down to it, I'll buy the player that plays both. I'm surprised that Toshiba and MS aren't being more aggressive in promoting their format. Maybe if Gates was still running the show at MS, he'd give $ony a run for their money. He needs to do something. Or maybe even a bigger surprise, Nintendo will back HD DVD for the next console! C'mon Miyamoto and Iwata, Mario and Zelda HD!!!
