Nov 16th 2009 4:34PM @kojo87 - Is really quite simple, try to find anybody that doesn't like killing Nazi's. That and their haven't been that many Vietnam games, certainly no where close to the number that are WWII era themed. So killing Nazi's gets WWII games a pass, while Vietnam games fly under the radar.

Don't shop drunk: Verizon's $350 ETF is now live {Engadget}

Nov 15th 2009 5:41PM @someguy "or know much about technology"...I would like to introduce you to our good friend Kettle, that your something we like to call reading comprehension. You see the first posts were about taking a Verizon CDMA phone globally and about being stuck with Sprint another CDMA carrier because of local network conditions.

Given this were does your suggestion about getting a local SIM when traveling abroad play into a US carrier CDMA phone that does not have a SIM card slot? Please enlighten me with your greater knowledge or travel and technology.

Crysis and Crysis Warhead just $15 on Steam this weekend {Joystiq}

Nov 13th 2009 5:48PM For $15 I might play Crysis, it always seemed like a benchmark tool half-assed into a game like Fry Cry was. Fry Cry looked pretty at the time, but I could never get multi player to not crash while joining a game or withing 15 seconds of it. Single player went alright, but it was heavy on the eye candy and severely lacking in the game quality.

Intel Arrandale chips detailed, priced and dated? {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2009 11:07AM @Alfred-I believe they are referring to the Turbo Boost in the i7 8xx series of chips the i7 9xx series got the shaft with Turbo Boost. The i7 860 is a base clock of 2.8Ghz, however it has a max Turbo Boost clock of 3.46Ghz. Granted on the i7 9xx series all of the cores go up in speed, but the option of having the chip go significantly faster on a core if a single process needs the speed is a plus in my book.
