Garmin EcoRoutes ESP module turns your GPS into car sentinel {Engadget}

Nov 5th 2009 11:29AM I love all of the nay-sayers of Garmin when most of them tend to be completely obvilious to Garmin's orginal market. Aircraft navigation. Sorry, but google will never be able to cut it with me through ad-supported devices. Frankly, I think Garmin's business practices are sound and they have recognized the changing market and offered very affordable pieces to very expensive ones.

I will gladly say I will buy this gadget and any matching nuvi device when it comes out given my experience with a low-end Garmin, i know I can expect a substantial product out of them. Google however... I don't always know my route and I certainly don't always take good care of my phone nor do I like looking at a tiny ass screen.

T-Mobile USA down all over the place? (update: yes) {Engadget}

Nov 3rd 2009 9:43PM Up for me in lawrence, KS. Rest of my tmobile fellow users in KC seem to not be reporting any issues. Sadly they're mostly SK users and will be leaving soon anyways. GG T-mobile. 8 year customer tired of your crap, moving on to greener pastures.

New iMac doesn't play nice with Apple's Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter {Engadget}

Oct 27th 2009 2:38AM I'm just trying to remember the last time that PC's made a genuine and definite switch from one monitor cable to another in which the previous one would no longer work....

Oh that's right Apple fans, we're actually afforded the luxury of choice, where you pay for the luxury of restriction.

AT&T pays out $8.2 million settlement over school E-Rate program {Engadget}

Feb 16th 2009 7:07PM Donald probably graduated from College with a degree in Journalism, give him a break.

Grippity drops by again to show off gaming mockup and original keyboard model {Engadget}

Jan 12th 2009 3:06AM I would never -ever- show up at a major tradeshow with such rough mockups. That's just pathetic. Again like those above commending him for trying, it just doesn't really seem innovative or practical enough for use. Frankly, I can type just as fast as I want with my thumbs on my blackberry, and the market for a device to type on while on the move at that size seems rather small.

New HP laptop releases rumored, Mini 1000 Mi included {Engadget}

Jan 4th 2009 12:31AM I'm excited, but disappointed at the same time. HP recently released the tx2z tablet laptop and I was hoping they'd release another one to bump down the prices just a little bit. Guess I'll be going with the grainier tx2500us series instead to save a pretty penny or two.

DirecTV "suspends development" on HDPC-20 tuner {Engadget}

Dec 9th 2008 5:41PM I'm with you on that. I think DirectTV really dropped the ball on this. I was actually willing to do a 2 year contract in order to have this. Then again, it really depended on how well the tuner worked with closed captioning and the like, but... still quite a disappointment to say the least.

gOS "Cloud" instant-on OS comes to Gigabyte touchscreen netbooks {Engadget}

Dec 1st 2008 1:44PM Now I'm curious as to how good this "touchscreen" part really is. I'd love to see a netbook have tablet abilities someday.

Black Friday Giveaways (part 5): Universal Remote's URC Digital R50 {Engadget HD}

Nov 28th 2008 6:45PM WOW! These things grow fast!
