Cellphone charger blamed for blaze in Delaware {Engadget}
Sep 2nd 2008 11:22PM If someone were to develop a device that would send a frequency to cause surrounding cell phones to either explode or start fire, I would invest in that stock immediately. Again, people who are addicted to their cell phones are people who have no self-purpose, or do not like being alone with themselves.
Martin Jetpack officially unveiled, lifts off on video {Engadget}
Jul 29th 2008 2:21PM Ok, that had to be the poorest publicity promo for any product, they never let go. I bet if they did he'd probably start spinning like a balloon flying around once you release it from your fingers. If I were in the crowd, you would have heard a very loud BOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Ask Engadget: What's the best iPhone 3G alternative? {Engadget}
Jul 24th 2008 9:41PM The best alternative would be any cell phone that with repeated use will cause brain cancer, as stated in the news today. This will decrease the population of people that believe it is OK to take cell phone calls in public while standing around other people. Bring on them Gigabytes of waves!

Jul 13th 2008 2:42PM I like that, yes, lemmings. I wonder why Microsoft or PC manufacturers never did a counter-commercial to those annoyingly arrogant Mac ads. Like "so you can communicate with the MAJORITY of the world". I remember working at the Pentagon and some mac fanatic IT guy came in and decided he wanted his entire department to have macs. Then the rest of the Pentagon had problems opening up their Word and Excel files, etc, etc, etc, etc. It was a huge mess, and it came out of your tax money to train them, etc.
Macs are fine, just don't overly tote Apple products. I have an RCA Lyra PMP and it does more than an IPOD, more compatibilities, more functionality, more storage, you name it.

Jul 13th 2008 12:15PM The people who are nuts are the ones who stand in line for an iphone, or the latest Windows Operating System, or whatever. The reason why people spend so much time on their cell phones is because they have no self-purpose, and are afraid to be alone with themselves. It's true. Look at someone driving and talking on a cell phone. As soon as they are done they hold the phone up in the air, thinking, hmmm, who else should I call and talk about my pathetic life too.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
JVC Everio HD40 HD camcorder review {Engadget HD}
Jul 8th 2008 12:17PM Yet, here is the ambiguity, you write "Logging clips in broad daylight produced relatively satisfactory results, with images that were sharp and detailed."
So what is it, are they bland or "sharp and detailed"?
JVC Everio HD40 HD camcorder review {Engadget HD}
Jul 8th 2008 12:02PM Like so many other poorly written reviews, I learned virtually nothing from yours. Like, how well does the auto-focus work, does it have optical image stabilization and does it work well, are there manual audio level controls and do those work well. Statements like "Audio capture was remarkably average, with nothing to complain about but nothing to get overly joyous about. " are way too ambiguous. It's like saying, "I guess I'm having a good day." And don't even bother wasting time mentioning still photo capabilities of digital camcorders. We REALLY aren't caring much about that.
I hope you will give the camera to someone else to do a more thorough review.
