HP's Pavilion Elite m9000t desktop gets reviewed {Engadget HD}

Dec 22nd 2007 12:30AM I am having a nightmarish time getting the system to work properly. DVD playback is good mostly except for a strange distortion that pops up in the middle on either of my two monitors. Also I just got the New Harry Potter HD set for xmas and of course.... it wouldn't play HD ..I have run another set of updates that came from cyberlink specifically for the HD Media player included and am hoping this will fix the problem. It won't recognize the format at all. The only other software that seems to work ok is the CYBERLINK free trial of there DELUXE player 99 dollars if I want to buy and it choking periodically while playing. Not really acceptable....I was SOOO Excited to buy this Computer. Another example of Technology that is not ready. :( :( Very sad.
