Apr 16th 2008 3:18PM F.Y.I. I recently contacted Sony in regards to 7.1 output. Sony indicated that currently, the PS3 does NOT support 7.1 output...only 5.1. It will at some point release a firmware update to output 7.1 audio.

Apr 15th 2008 12:39PM I having the same issue. I set the PS3 to LPCM 7.1 and my Denon receiver is set to Multi Ch Input...however I'm only getting a 5.1 signal from the Pan's Blu-ray. Have you found a fix to this issue?
