Mar 6th 2009 2:19PM What's the point in this? It's got quite a bit more hardware than a 2 drive NAS device needs, what does it get used for? And of course, the most important thing they've managed to miss is that if you're considering buying a dedicated NAS device, you probably need more space that 2 drives worth.

Sorry, but you can bet Apple targets professionals, just not the ones you imagine. They target pro creative types: photographers, artists, publishers, etc. And you can bet your ass that those guys require the ability to do pro-style things...like changing the battery of their machines in the field.
