Droid experiencing external speaker problems, could be a software issue? {Engadget}

Nov 15th 2009 11:58PM As opposed to the behavior that occurs on any poll having to do with the iPhone? I think I'd be more disturbed if equal treatment wasn't happening here.

YouTube begins streaming 1080p insecurities next week (update: 1080p video!) {Engadget HD}

Nov 13th 2009 10:01AM Any chance this might coincide with the Flash Player 10 update that is supposed to bring GPU hardware decoding for video streams in Flash? Might be a fairly decent way to push Flash Player updates to people.

Apple updates Safari to 4.0.4 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 12th 2009 10:48AM This update wildly improves Flash performance under 64bit Safari in Snow Leopard. Pretty much back to where it used to be instead of dramatically worse.

Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter out this week in North America [update] {Joystiq}

Nov 10th 2009 2:03PM So I'm going to actually chime in and ask a question to do with the product. ::shocking::

What type of 802.11n connection does this support? 2.4GHz only? with a 20MHz wide spectrum? 5GHz? 40MHz spectrum for bandwidth? More? capped at 150, 300, 450? Having slow n clients on my (n only segmented) wireless network kills me and the speed of everything else on that network.

Wall of Sound is loud, prohibitively expensive, and somewhat defeats the purpose {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2009 1:24AM Can always rely on Engadget to rank up the uninformed person. Thanks masses. And licensing fees probably aren't an issue for a prohibitively expensive wall of sound.

Apple TV 3.0.1 update prevents data from 'temporarily disappearing' {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2009 1:21AM My assumption was that this individual had all his music in another lossless format already. People do rip to those you know?

Apple TV 3.0.1 update prevents data from 'temporarily disappearing' {Engadget}

Nov 8th 2009 11:07AM Enormous task? If it's already in iTunes you can just select all of it and tell it to convert the whole library (as long as you have enough space). It maintains all the tag data and leaves the originals in tact...It couldn't be easier actually.

Microsoft emancipates Digital Cable Tuners with second Media Center update today {Engadget}

Nov 6th 2009 11:42PM Considering you can use FIOS in Media Center via cable cards, I'm really not sure where you stand.

Wall of Sound is loud, prohibitively expensive, and somewhat defeats the purpose {Engadget}

Nov 2nd 2009 8:03PM iPod docks have the ability, if tapped into, to bypass the iPod's DAC/headphone amp and access and process the raw file. See http://www.wadia.com/products/transports/170i/technology.php

If any logic was put into the creation of this device (possibly none), they would go that route. So, I suggest some education.
