Nov 22nd 2005 12:36AM companies have been touting "cheaper plasmas" for forever now, but its just not happening. older sets are priced to compete, but the new ones will continue to cost an arm and a leg. Whats more, once the majority of consumers start looking into HD, they'll realize the drawbacks of the plasma (esp with the EDTV fiasco). Increased inventory should equal lower pricing...meh, one can dream.

Nov 14th 2005 5:36PM the 'box stats' on Microsoft's site is in utter dismay, most notably the number of players on the majority of titles. Also, the games catalogue lists *ALL* the games as having "No Support" for HDTV. :)
