Download Squad goes Chrome-crazy {Download Squad}
Sep 2nd 2008 7:37AM I am excited to try it, but doubt I will use it often. Extensions are what make Firefox better than everything else in my opinion. Sure, Opera is awesome, and may be faster or more accurate, but it cant do half the things firefox can.
I doubt google will allow any ad blocking, as advertisers will have a mega company to sue for it. We will see.

Jul 29th 2008 6:46AM That is more effective than a lame advertisement. They should have followed it up with a screen explaining who to contact for more information and how to correct the problem before the cut off. It would have saved the station the headache of answering all the angry calls. Why knows, they may have. People like to complain anyway.

Jul 3rd 2008 7:22AM 2GB of RAM ?? Good luck running that in a 32bit OS (maximum total memory of 4GB all together). You may have the fastest video card around, but your system RAM just got chopped in half. Vista 64 bit edition will be your only real option for gaming with this card.

BBC iPlayer 2.0 arrives in beta {Download Squad}
Jun 27th 2008 6:45AM Great picture. I love Doctor Who. Martha was awesome. I wish they would put these BBC show up for a US audience. I understand if BBC doesn't want to do it directly, but through Hulu with the rest of the licensed SciFi channel content should be possible with ad support. I guess giving up those $80 a season (13 episodes) DVD sales is hard to do.
