Dec 2nd 2008 12:34PM I just hate the fact China allows citizens to bootleg and copy our patented products with no chance for our companies to sue theirs.

I just hope when someone charges this piece of shit it EXPLODES and takes as many lives as possible. The same goes for the HiPhone and all those fake Chinese ipods.

I don't care if I get low ranked for that. Someone has to speak up for the law. Intellectual property rights are important.

Dec 1st 2008 6:54PM Because science now has paper thin oled displays, paper thin piezo electric speakers, and can actually print out circuitry on sheets of paper, it is possible to actually produce a laptop as thin as 6 sheets of looseleaf paper....

...but does it make any sense to do so? I think not.

Silicone Touch: an iPhone case for the visually impaired {Engadget}

Dec 1st 2008 6:27PM The iphone is the absolute worst possible type of device for a Blind person to even consider using.

Its a FLAT SCREEN. It has NO TACTILE FEEDBACK. Its screen does not correspond to the braille pad unless you make that custom app, AND THEN WHAT? after you leave the main screen and move to a sub menu, you'd need an entirely new braille pad for it - and every subsequent screen.

do this: close your eyes and try dialing a phone number on your phone ...any number.

The only way I see blind people having access to the mobile internet is if science designed a full pad with little magnetically extended pins that could be controlled by a cpu to constantly change based on what is on screen. In fact, there would be no monitor at all...just the pin pad.
