Perhaps it is because of the other side of the coin where HD-DVD fans say how wonderful the PiP and Web features when less then 10% of the titles even take advantage of this.
Seems like 50% of the disks using 50gig is quite a bit better then 10% using special features.

So someone says that a "war" is a stalemate. HOW does that mean one is NOT better then the other?
I could say the war in Iraq is a stalemate BUT our troops are better then the insurgents. One has zero to do with the other. TWO different things.
Flip-Flop? Wrong words. Get writers that can read articles and post correct comments.
Typical for a "pro"-HD-DVD site to misconstrue the meaning of words.
HD-DVD has not won a week in nearly a year...and it will stay that way for a LONG time. Amazon numbers mean nothing...been proven over and over so don't use them as a sign of where things are going.
My favorite is HD-DVD claming a victory when they get 42% of the sales. That would be like the Colts claiming victory over the Patriots because they scored a touchdown once but still lost the game. Does not matter how close it is...a win is a win.

1) Attach rates? Well HD-DVD has lied about these for quite a while. How? They claim the PS3 is not a Blu-Ray player so will not count it as such in number of players sold...BUT they do use those numbers in attach rates. Interesting claims / misleading information there? The other issue with this is if you only sell 10 players and those owners by 50 movies each, that is one heck of a nice attach rate. But it means nothing since each company only sold 10 of each movie at best. Volume is what matters.
SHOW me the number of disks sold not a useless attach rate. THAT will say it all. A company making a DVD makes money based on that, not a "percentage" against another format. Count the PS3 or don't...does not matter to me. When the numbers come out there are still over 4 million units capable of playing blu-rays to maybe 1 million HD-DVD players? You tell me which side has a better chance at selling more of their media? Perhaps it will take time but those with PS3s will start and when they do.
2) There is a HUGE push for the PS3 this fall. Perhaps not selling as great as expected BUT it is a blu-ray player, plain and simple. With the push is a push to be sure users understand what it is capable of.
3) Toshiba sold quite a few players when the offered the A2 so cheap. But how will that work with sales of HD-DVDs...No clue since many could be presents...but then again same can be said for the current sales of PS3s. Can only wait to next year to answer this.
4) Blu-ray is crushing overseas everywhere. The misleading Euro numbers are a final attempt to try a make things look better then they are...but nothing can save HD-DVD in Japan or Europe.
5) 65/35? I would not call that a win by any means. Some have to because that is the only hope one side has to get out of the hole they are in.
