Crapgadget: 'All hope just might be lost' edition {Engadget}

Nov 8th 2009 7:45AM Seriously - I usually want everything advertised here. Crab headphones? USB monkey warmer? This "crap" is awesome!

Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime squashes Wii HD rumors... again {Engadget}

Nov 6th 2009 7:21PM They're not trying to sound clever...it is, as you just said, an expression.

Comcast announces new bandwidth throttling scheme (update: old news) {Engadget}

Nov 5th 2009 4:38PM Just so I know I understand this correctly: Let's say you're watching a Netflix Watch Instantly title. Family awarded $16.5 million for wrongful death in 'Hold Your Wee for a Wii' contest {Engadget}

Oct 30th 2009 3:47PM Stupid. Tragic, but stupid.

Look, when an adult consents to do something, and is warned of the risks, then that adult - and that adult alone - should be held accountable for his or her actions. It was a stupid contest to begin with, but it's even dumber to actually consent to it. So much for being responsible for your own actions. Guess I'll go stab myself and sue Cutco for selling me a dangerous item.

Also: handshakes confuse me now.

AlterG's M300 treadmill: same 'anti-gravity' vibe, now 'only' $24,500 {Engadget}

Oct 29th 2009 8:55AM "The idea here is to reduce the strain on joints and muscles as one exercises"

Right, because adding extra weight to your body before running really reduces the strain on your joints. Er, no.
