Dell's XPS One, now in face-friendly 24-inch form {Engadget}
Oct 30th 2008 11:50AM This blows the 24" iMac away in terms of performance and value. (Dell) - Intel® CoreTM 2 Quad vs. (Apple) Intel Core 2 Duo. (Dell) 4GB RAM vs. (Apple) 2GB RAM. (Dell) 750 GB HD vs. (Apple) 500 GB HD. (Dell) 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 9600M GT vs. (Apple) NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS with 512MB memory. The XPS also includes a really nice JBL speaker system + subwoofer, and integrated TV Tuner card. All that to boot for a starting price of 200 less (Dell) vs. (Apple). The only advantage I give the iMac is the Apple OS X, but with these specs the Dell should run Vista just fine.

Dec 11th 2007 7:34AM I agree with Brandon -- 'we' are not their target audience with this product, as much as everyone here wants one. Instead, it is targetted at the health care industry that must walk around all day with a tablet 'esque computer. Sorry students, but this was never intended to replace your Ipods.

Nov 9th 2007 9:55AM I see nothing here that is competitive in terms of price or feature. Satellite (Direct/Dish) both beat these offerings in terms of quality and content.
