Oct 19th 2005 9:25PM Well I have been looking to buy HD for years...but everytime I find one that does HD and shows standard TV 'acceptably' it's 6-10k...never gonna happen! (It seems I have champaign taste, but a beer budget.) This unit I bought only because I like LCD's and it was 1920x1080 'Native' resolution. When I compared it in the store (BB) it was not impressive...However I bought it anyway. Boy am I pleased... HDTV looks like a giant moving transparency that is on a lightbox! Impressive...Particularly if the HD is 1080i. And SDTV is nearly acceptable, but is certainly not god awful as most HDTV's I have looked at. Ton's of different inputs, and OSX from an Apple laptop looks great. Quite a most wonderful monitor. No tuner...but I have TWDC. 4 weeks later and no buyers remorse....
