Oct 15th 2008 7:11PM Whys evrybody breaking balls on Vizo? I have several Plasma Models .. a Haier 42" 720p/1800i , a Vizio 60" 720p/1080i, Samsung 50" 720p/1080i are the PLASMAs and a 30" 1080p LG LCD ... yes I like to buy "el cheapo" cause everybody in the house wants a PDP... but you know what? The only one I have had problems with is the Samsung... all the other cheapos LOOK great with SatHD, Xbox360 and PS3 Blu's pushing signal through em...the only thing is you HAVE to manually adjust the settings.....And another thing I noticed on the "Cheapo's" underneath the shells are LG/hitachi electronics and panels... so what gives? BTW I have had the Haier the longest 3 years black friday special and the Viz' for 2 1/2 and absolutlely no probs whatsoever. Sure Id love a Kuro... who wouldnt't... but after taking HEAVY losses on out mutual funds and 401k's I just cant afford or plan to buy one. In todays uncertain financial times Im glad that at least us middleclass peeps have such great choices and value brands like Viz... thanks Viz.

Nov 9th 2007 10:07AM GOOD HD movies dont have to be 20Gigs.. Ihave plenty of 720p and 1080p movies on DVD-5 and DVD-9 ..check out Bit-HDTV and HD Bits. (google em)
MS could simply move to a matroska format and enable the 360's to play MKV's and violla .. you have Hi-Def movies 4 to 8 gigs.

WHEN will you learn that consumers HATE DRM... and will always support software from guys like James at Slysoft... not because of piracy like you think, but so we can use legal media we purchase the way we want, without DRM laden rootkits restricitions and HARDWARE REQUIRMENTS...(HDCP/GRRRRRR!!!!) ....
To the folks at SLYSOFT .... Thank You... I can now enjoy a throng of titles on my HTPC with non-HDCP compliant hardware. :)

BTW very happy with our 60 inch 720p plasma...

I think a 7 and 5 rating fare well considerering all the competition out there.
By the way look at all the competition they bested. MAJOR BRANDS.
