Verizon considering crazy cheap Storm pricing? {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 1st 2008 11:27AM If you price out the monthly plans of an existing verizon blackberry, like the curve for all the options like gps, and the same number of minutes, AT&T is about 25 dollars cheaper with their iphone plans. The other smart phone plans are the same.

If Verizon is going to charge for visual voicemail and gps on the storm, and the pricing is the same as other blackberries. Then AT&T is going to be cheaper for an iphone than it is to get the storm on verizon.

Netflix finally brings 'Watch Instantly' to Macs via Silverlight {Engadget HD}

Research finds that salespeople recommend LCD TVs more than plasmas {Engadget HD}

Jul 21st 2008 5:52PM Scott,

All you need to do is google plasma vs lcd power consumption. and you will find a series of results that support what I said. Here's a good one:

http://www.hometheatermag.com/gearworks/106gear/

Also, about the prices, go to any store and limit results by screen size, and then order by price and you'll see plasma cheaper every time. sure, a 26" lcd is cheaper than a plasma because they don't make plasmas that small, but a 42" plasma is cheaper than a 40" lcd hands down.
