May 12th 2006 10:58AM In my opinion Toshiba has dropped the ball on an amazing opportunity by failing to supply a steady stream of players. With only 10,00 player sold and none on the shelves, my intial urge to run out and buy an HD DVD player has passed. Who cares if they 'only cost $500' if you can't buy one. When will Toshiba start shipping more players?

Apr 25th 2006 5:04PM If Blu-ray has released 99 movies in six months, but a HD DVD has 49, won't people be inclined to buy the cheaper player? At what point I thnink it may cease to matter who has more content. Maybe it will come down to which consortium can deliver a steady stream of players at a price that people will pay.
