Workaround for HTC Hero battery life issues discovered {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 30th 2009 10:27AM You see, when you say someone's statement doesn't MERIT a response it means the statement has no truth or reason, not that a valid response was given and you're at a loss for any way to refute it. Instead of acting immature maybe you can explain my inaccuracies with fact?
Workaround for HTC Hero battery life issues discovered {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 30th 2009 8:30AM LOL, really? How does a battery issue in a phone that was released only 2 weeks ago that will be patched soon anyway amount to a phone not being an 'iphone killer'? If the battery issue was so bad i suppose we could swap with a backup... oh wait you iphone users can't swap your batteries lmao.
Aren't iphone users still waiting for many of the features we got right out the box like multitasking? Didn't it take years for iphone users to get basic functionality like video recording? How open is the iphone to allowing anyone create apps without jumping through hoops and restrictions and even then you end up having to jailbreak for 3rd party apps because mommy apple thought said apps are too naughty for itunes. Apple comes ahead because of the vast app selection and devs focus on apps running on the iphone rather than other OS's due to popularity and profitability, though most of the apps are useless unless you're into fart apps or other novelty junk.
But yea, the iphone is the holy grail because of its mainstream popularity. Boy bands and teeny-bopper music must be the best because they're the music i ever hear reported on TV. The fact that I paid less up front as well as per month for my Hero that does the same and more than the iphone must mean nothing because fanboys might get their feelings hurt over competition. boo-hoo.
Don't let any of this prevent you from buying anything apple because i've made a buttload of cash on apple stock driven by consumers wanting to feel 'in', keep pushing up that stock! lol
Samsung's Instinct HD lands itself a quick video hands-on {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 25th 2009 10:41AM most of what the reviewer showing off is how fast the menus flip. lol
its still an instinct, and as an instinct owner i can tell you $250 is $200 too much for what became a total disappointment. Do yourself a favor and wait for reviews as well as read user forums so you know what to expect. Also, if there is an announcement for a patch enabling basic features and fixing critical errors to be released "soon", don't be surprised if it comes months after your 30-day return agreement ends.
Best Buy ramping up to take Sprint Hero preorders {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 5th 2009 2:43AM I have no idea how BB mobile works so can someone answer me this....
If I'm half-way through my 2yr contract on an Instinct with Sprint and I qualify for a $150 off upgrade, how would that apply to BB mobile? Does BB mobile honor the upgrade or what?

Jul 24th 2009 9:02PM hey Mr. Dan Hesse, speaking about OS's not ready for prime time, how about the damn Instinct with Brew OS you pimped as beating the iphone?

FOX News turns HD on DirecTV {Engadget HD}
Oct 21st 2008 10:04PM FOX News is the most biased untrustworthy crap to call itself a 'news' channel. I watched it from 2000 to 2005 or so and I'm ashamed to admit it. How ANYONE can claim its 'fair and balanced' is beyond me, believing so illustrates the person's ignorance or the fact they're brainwashed. Browse youtube or google for countless examples of FOX's idiocy. 'Liberal media' and 'mainstream media' means 'anything that isn't BS right-wing and calls us neocons out for our lies' in case you're too wrapped up in talking points. Don't like CNN or other networks? Fine, commit to Reuters or AP, or use your brain and fact check.
Seriously people, I don't care if you're conservatives but don't be so stupid to believe FOX is 'fair and balanced'. They've been proven to report lies and tabloid commentary countless times. High ratings mean NOTHING, look at all the garbage that stays on TV and tell me it must be good news since more people watch it lol.
